Guide to Eye Care

GUIDE TO EYE CARE

The skin around your eyes is very delicate and very precious! It's thinner and more  sensitive than anywhere else on your face, making it prone to dryness, puffiness, and  fine lines. It needs regular TLC, but do you need to invest in a separate eye product?  This is one of our most frequently asked questions. Our answer is no and here’s why:

We don’t believe in 10-step skincare routines that can overload your skin. We like you to  be able to multi-task with the Husk & Seed products you already have, which also  means you are not spending out unnecessarily.

We have formulated our products to be gentle enough to use around the eye area and  they will nourish and protect the skin, whilst keeping fine lines at bay!

Cleansing the eye area

Our Gently Nourishing Cleansing Balm is gentle enough to be taken all over the eye  area and the plant oils it contains are perfect for removing all make-up (including  waterproof mascara) and keeping the area moisturised.

Top Tip: Laying the hot cloth over the eye area when removing the cleansing balm is a  real treat and helps to relax the eye muscles!

Moisturising the eye area

All three of our facial oils and our Hydration Boost Moisturising Balm are perfect for  keeping the eye area hydrated and moisturised. They are 100% natural so don’t contain  any of the nasties that can irritate the eyes. I have the most sensitive eyes, and  everything makes them sting or burn, so it was important to me when formulating the  products that this didn't happen.

Just tap a couple of drops of oil or a dot of balm around the orbital bone to soften skin  and keep fine lines at bay. Don’t apply anything directly under your eye area as this can  cause puffiness.

Dry eyelids?

If you suffer with dry patches on your eyelids, which is very common, our Ultra  Protective Lip & Hand Balm is great at healing and is free from essential oils so can be  applied safely on the lids or around the eye area.

Tired eyes?

Never underestimate the good old cucumber slice for soothing, dry, tired eyes too! It’s  very soothing and this was the inspiration for using cucumber seed oil in our Calm &  Soothe Face Mask!

Our Day & Night Duo are fantastic multi-taskers for the face, neck and orbital area.
